My first date with Hans
Even though I am very new to the dating game I have learned that it is always best to arrange a date in a public place with someone you have only just ‘met’. I had been emailing and speaking to Hans on the telephone for just over a couple of months when he suggested that I call round to his apartment one evening for a chat and a few beers. I felt as though he could be trusted but I really didn’t feel comfortable with his idea so I asked him if he would be happy to meet me in a bar in any of the Stuttgart hotels in the centre of the city. He told me that the decision was mine so then all I had to do was decide what to wear. I was still a little bit nervous about our first date but that was part of the excitement. Hans made such a positive impression on me that we have dated each other several times since although I still haven’t accepted his offer to go to his home.
